Commanding Agility: The Journey Towards a Software-Defined Enterprise

Introduction

AGE Solutions empowers organizations to transition into the Software-Defined Enterprise paradigm. We provide end-to-end support in virtualizing your infrastructure, automating workflows, and optimizing resource allocation for superior performance and scalability.

Software-Defined Networking (SDN)

  • Our team of experts specializes in implementing SDN solutions that decouple the network control plane from the data plane, enabling highly customizable and automated network configurations.

  • Use Cases: Automated Traffic Routing, Network Isolation, Load Balancing

Data Center Virtualization

  • Leveraging platforms like OpenStack and VMware, we provide full-stack data center virtualization services that enable dynamic resource allocation and automated scaling.

  • Use Cases: Rapid Deployment, Resource Optimization, High Availability

Software-Defined Storage (SDS)

  • We design storage systems that abstract the underlying hardware, enabling features like automated backups, deduplication, and cloud-based storage solutions.

  • Use Cases: Dynamic Storage Provisioning, Data Replication, Disaster Recovery

Automation and Orchestration

  • Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and orchestration tools like Ansible, Terraform and Kubernetes, we automate complex tasks in your infrastructure for operational efficiency.

  • Use Cases: Infrastructure as Code, Auto-scaling, Continuous Deployment

AGE Solutions demonstrated its expertise in software defined technologies by harnessing the power of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and Software Defined Access (SDA) through Cisco DNA Center. In the pursuit of Zero Trust principals and delivering enhanced datacenter capabilities, the ACI solution played a pivotal role in amalgamating distributed datacenter locations into a unified Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) enclave. This innovative, software-defined approach not only achieved full redundancy within the datacenter but also enabled rapid sub-second failover and seamless data backup across multiple sites. The result was a multitude of advantages, including Zero Trust security compliance across virtual network zones, centralized management of datacenter, network, and security infrastructure, and the automation of common policies, streamlining datacenter operations. Furthermore, the implementation of Software Defined Access (SDA) via Cisco DNA Center added another layer of sophistication, facilitating Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) for switch deployment and VXLAN fabric overlay across numerous military installations. This expansive deployment served the needs of thousands of endpoints within the SDA fabric, with the invaluable assistance of AGE engineering staff who contributed to the creation of the initial site hierarchy, integration with Identity Services Engine (ISE), and the development of node templates for onboarding, upgrading, and extending policies to nodes within the SDA fabric.
